A Hands on Experience
I love all these curious little hands touching this bowl as it spins on the pottery wheel. I had to grab my camera- they were just too cute!

These pics were taken of my class for homeschoolers this past Fall.Hannah looks like she's concentrating intently on her beautiful little bowl.
Why is it that kids always love cutting clay with the wire tool? Here is Andrew happily cutting away. I'm willing to bet that this block of clay was used to create one of his cool ceramic trains or trucks.
Reba should be proud of this beautiful box that she made. Too bad this pic doesn't show off her carefully carved sgraffitto designs.
Here's Danny, getting ready to create a masterpiece while he centers his clay on the pottery wheel.

You go girls!!
I have just started a class for adults and I'm loving it! I look forward to Tuesday nights all week long. Check out these pots made by Billie and Michaela- both beginner potters. Can you beleive that? Of course, these pots will be even more stunning after they are glazed.
Billie, thanks for letting me put your fabulous cylinder and beautiful face on my blog.
Michaela's pot looks like a party to me, which is very fitting for her bubbly personality.
Another one of Michaela's pots, perfectly trimmed, might I add.
